Community Guidelines

1.Introduction

1.1BOLT GLOBAL MEDIA UK LTD and its affiliates (“we”, “us” or “BoltOS”) are technology-based companies that build web3-enabled platforms and services for the next generation of the internet. BoltOS is a global social media ecosystem comprising Bolt+, a full-feature social network with payment integration; BoltX, a user-custody digital asset wallet. BoltOS is also authorised to manage Pivotal, a Ethereum-compatible L2 blockchain platform with several protocols available for users to interact with.

1.2We are pleased to provide you with our Services which are accessible through our Platforms.

“Platforms” - means any and all platforms offered by BoltOS, these include but are not limited to: Bolt+, BoltX, boltplus.tv and shall include Pivotal(as currently called). Any subsequent website, mobile application or software published by BoltOS will also fall within this definition. Please note that this is not an exhaustive summary and the Platforms may be added or suspended at the discretion of BoltOS.

“Pivotal” - means a blockchain tentatively called Pivotal which supports the BoltOS ecosystem which is a layer 2, Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible Blockchain protocol and interoperable with other EVM Blockchains such as Ethereum, BNB chain using BoltBridge.

“Services” - means the services offered to you by BoltOS on our Platforms. This includes Content, web3 media and entertainment, self-custody NFT and digital asset wallet management, and a web3-commerce marketplace, media campaigns, competitions, quizzes and any other services published by BoltOS including those by third parties. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list and the Services may be added or suspended at the discretion of BoltOS.

“Content” - means all audio, audio-visual (including live streams), videos, entertainment or informational programming, music, games, chats, texts, posts, comments, messages, articles, photographs, images, graphics, creative works and all other content, information, and materials available on or through the Services, whether posted, uploaded, transmitted, shared, sent or otherwise made available by us, our licensors, vendors, and/or service providers, or by you, and/or other users or third parties, including any such content uploaded manually or bookmarked by you and/or other users. Some Content may be free or paid, depending on the Service options selected or subscribed by you. The term “User-Generated Content” shall refer to the Content posted, submitted, uploaded, transmitted, shared, communicated, sent or otherwise made available by you on our Platforms.

1.3This Guidelines are aimed at providing a safe environment for our community to interact within the BoltOS community and participate in the activities when using our Services. This Community Guidelines is not exhaustive and may be updated from time to time. Let us promote a BoltOS community that respects one another so that each user experience will be a positive one.

2.Code of Conduct

Our Services and Platforms are in public spaces. Only post content you are comfortable sharing with others.

Respect Intellectual Property. Be Original. Be Genuine
Make sure that you have all the rights, licences and permission to create and share your Content.

Be Yourself
Do not impersonate any person, company, or entity. This includes attempting to misrepresent yourself as a staff or representative of BoltOS.

Respect Other Community Members. Be Kind

-User-Generated Content should not be malicious or otherwise objectionable.

-Use appropriate language such that your User-Generated Content does not promote or incite bigotry, racism or discrimination (race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age).

-User-Generated Content should not contain elements of extreme gore and violence.

-User-Generated Content must not have nudity, pornography and other sexual content. Please refer to Prohibited Content restrictions as set out in the Terms of Service.

-Avoid hate speech and do not criticise any products or services.

-Do not defame any persons.

-Do not intimidate, harass or bully others.

-Do not post threats of violence or threats to hurt others.

-Do not incite violence or harassment towards another individual, user or group.

Be Safe
Do not share User-Generated Content or engage in activities that may endanger or harm yourself or others such as suicide threats, dangerous or illegal use of alcohol or drugs and other acts which are grossly reckless.

Keep the Platforms and Marketplace fair and free of disinformation
Do not share User-Generated Content that is misleading or inaccurate.

Protect your Passwords and Private Keys
Do not share with anyone your password, private cryptographic keys of your crypto assets, media streaming keys, private information or personal data. We will not be responsible for any complaints or claims arising from any unauthorised transactions which have used the credentials as registered by you.

Respect Privacy

-Do not share personal data and information of others (eg real name, address, phone numbers).

-Do not attempt to collect data and information via unauthorised methods.

Be Responsible and do not be malicious

-Do not do anything that will harm the systems, operations and functionality of our Services.

-Do not spam others.

-Do not attempt to “dox” anyone be it an individual or company or attempt to incite others to do so for you.

-Be a responsible user and use common sense.

Adhere to the Laws

-User-Generated Content or activities showing, promoting, offering or soliciting any form of illegal activities are not permitted.

-You must comply with all applicable laws. You agree and acknowledge that it is your responsibility to be aware of, and comply with any laws about your User-Generated Content, in particular, those applicable in your jurisdiction.

Keep the marketplace fair and only use it to trade legitimately

-You agree not to engage in any form of market manipulation or to maliciously use the BoltOS platforms for any activity which would grant you an unfair advantage in the markets.

BoltOS reserves the right to engage in disciplinary measures for breaching these guidelines, to ensure we create a safe space on our platform for all users. We will not tolerate incitements of violence, hate or bullying of any kind. If you can’t say it in person, don’t say it online!

3.CRYTOASSESTS/NFT

3.1Safety Notice: Protecting Yourself on the Crypto Online Market

Ⅰ.Use Secure Passwords: Create strong, unique passwords for your accounts on the platform. Avoid using easily guessable information or common phrases.

Ⅱ.Verify Website URLs: Always ensure you are visiting the official website of the crypto online market. Beware of phishing attempts where malicious actors mimic legitimate sites to steal your credentials. Our platform will do its best to identify threats to your safety, but always be alert!

Ⅲ.Exercise Caution with Links and Attachments: Avoid clicking on suspicious links or downloading attachments from unknown sources, as they may contain malware designed to compromise your security.

Ⅳ.Research Sellers and Buyers: Before engaging in any transactions, research the reputation and history of the sellers or buyers you are dealing with.

Ⅴ.Keep Your Private Keys Secure: Never share your private keys or sensitive information with anyone. Keep them stored securely offline and away from prying eyes.

Ⅵ.Stay Informed About Scams: Stay vigilant and educate yourself about common crypto scams. Be wary of offers that seem too good to be true or requests for personal information.

Ⅶ.Report Suspicious Activity: If you encounter any suspicious activity or believe you have been targeted by a scam, report it immediately to BoltOS’ support team and relevant authorities.

Ⅷ.Remember, your security is paramount. By following these guidelines and staying informed, you can help protect yourself while participating in the crypto online market.

3.2Understanding NFT transactions:

In the event that NFT services are offered as part of our Services, our Platforms (Bolt+) only connects buyers and sellers; creators and collectors. The sale and purchase of the cryptoassets/NFT transactions are not finalised by us. As such, you agree you are responsible to undertake your own assessment and verification process including terms and conditions of secondary markets or third parties attached to the relevant cryptoassets/NFT which may be applicable. We will not be responsible for any claims such as for any alleged copyrights infringement, reproductions and any claims arising therefrom.

For NFT Creators

(i)If you are an artist and would like to exhibit/display your NFTs or list them for sale:-

ensure that you adopt best practice and only display and list NFTs of which you are certain come from a reputable source.

ensure that your NFTs are in line with the Guidelines and do not feature any Prohibited Content as set out in our Terms of Service.

(ii)What you can’t do as a NFT creator.

Do not upload anyone else’s copyrighted or otherwise proprietary work.

Do not list or display NFTs that represent the same piece. However, related works in a series are acceptable.

Do not introduce onto the Platforms NFTs which could be harmful or contain malware to the Platform or the Community .

For NFT Collectors

(i)Do’s

You can display and list it for sale on our Platforms provided it complies with this Guidelines, our Terms of Service and terms and conditions of secondary markets or third parties attached to the relevant NFT which may be applicable.

(ii)Don’ts

You can’t use the NFTs you display or list on our Platforms in a commercial context including making malicious profits from the intellectual property of the original creator (unless the NFTs have a commercial function which rewards the owner by design).

You can’t make any changes to the NFTs (domain name) issued to you by Bolt OS, if any.

You can’t share the work in a hateful, cruel, or intolerant context.

You can’t create additional NFTs that represent the same artwork that may be deemed a plagiarism or reproduction.

Do not introduce onto the Platforms NFTs which could be harmful to the Platform or the Community. This can include Prohibited Content, malware or controversial NFTs.

3.3Risks
You acknowledge and agree that any type of cryptoasset transaction carries with it element of risks as set out our Terms of Service and agree to release BoltOS from any claims or liabilities that may arise when you transfer, list, sell, display or buy a cryptoasset on our Platforms (including those bought from third parties or our partners through our Platforms).

3.4Stay complaint
BoltOS reserves the right to remove or de-list any NFTs from our Platforms which are not in line with the terms and conditions of this Guidelines and our Terms of Service including those which are deemed to be contentious, objectionable or harmful to BoltOS’ branding (as determined by us in our sole discretion).

5.Violations

5.1Violation of any community guidelines may result in disciplinary action that BoltOS sees fit. We will not tolerate anything that goes against our Terms of Service or community guidelines and reserve the right to ban, remove or restrict users or content by any means necessary.

5.2If you are made aware of any breaches of these guidelines on our platform, report it to our services using the reporting mechanisms on our platform. Let’s keep the online world safe and fun for everyone!

Although we are not responsible for screening or monitoring your User-Generated Content, we reserve the right to modify, remove or take down your User-Generated Content and/or to suspend your profile/account indefinitely for any reasons. This includes instances where we believe your User-Generated Content has violated this Community Guidelines, our Terms of Service, applicable laws or any other applicable terms and conditions and policies.

For the sake of clarity, persons and entities sanctioned by the United Kingdom and the United Nations are prohibited from using the services of BoltOS to circumvent international sanction measures. Appropriate measures may be taken by BoltOS to ensure that the intent of these sanctions are met. This includes but is not limited to, geo-locking our services, suspending our services and the suspension or blocking of users’ accounts and/or Content.

6.Infringement Claims

6.1Make sure that your work is yours and do not copy or pass off other’s property. BoltOS reserves the right to act upon discovery that there is an infringement to a user’s property.

7.Quizzes, Contests and other Games

7.1Where you participate in our quizzes, contests and other games (if any) on our Platforms (whether or not they are integrated with a partner/third party website, service, application, platform and/or content), any activities which attempt to cheat, tamper or unfairly manipulate the results in your favour is strictly prohibited. Such examples include creating multiple accounts or using the same account but playing on multiple devices to manipulate the scores, results and/or rewards.

8.Others

8.1You agree that our decisions and/or any resolutions made on all matters relating to any disputes arising from your use of our Services on the Platforms shall be final, absolute and binding.

8.2We reserve the right to amend or modify any of the terms in this Guidelines and to correct any errors and omissions. The last revised date will be put at the top of this document. Your continued access, visitation and/or use of the Services will constitute your acceptance of any changes or revisions to this Guidelines.
