In this week’s fortnightly update, we’ve got huge updates ranging from our integration with Krystal Defi to our very first meme coin to the spectacle that is the Women’s Softball World Cup. Krystal Defi x Pivotal Protocol ⛓️

On our first ever X Spaces yesterday, we had the pleasure of announcing that Pivotal Protocol will be integrating with Krystal Defi to bring BoltOS users the ability to launch their own ILO on Pivotal!

An Initial Liquidity Offering allows anyone to launch their own tokens with immediate liquidity. This opens up the floor to traders to buy and sell tokens immediately after launch while also reducing the token’s volatility, especially in the early stages of its existence. The goal is that it will provide our users with yet another realistic pathway to building a community around their passion projects and ultimately fundraising for them too. 

As part of the initial test of this integration, we will be launching our very own test token: $GOODLE. We will be opening a White List for $GOODLE, of which priority will be given to current $BOLT holders that hold at least $500 worth of Bolt tokens, as well as close friends and partners of the BoltOS ecosystem.

Feature Updates 

Tagging & Collections Upgrade 🏷️: Content creators, rejoice! We are about to release our game-changing tagging system: streamers now wield the power to instantly tag their live gaming content to a particular gaming collection, opening up yet another distribution channel for their rewinds. These collections will be turned into game-specific channels that connect creators and their content directly with their ideal audience. This isn't just an upgrade; it's a seismic shift in content discovery that both content creators and viewers stand to benefit from.

Pivotal Testnet hits turbocharge ⛓️: Testnet is live and growing even faster than we had imagined. Racking up over 40k transactions a day and over 500k historical transactions to date, users are demonstrating a real appetite to try out the new protocol. This is but the first in a series of tests that ultimately lead up to Mainnet launch; however, the early signs are extremely encouraging.

Women's Softball World Cup 2024 🥎: The Softball World Cup is reaching its climax, with the finals being held tomorrow, July 20th! The USA and Japan look to be the early favourites, with the Netherlands following closely behind.
