Welcome to the first edition of Bolt Beat! This fortnightly update will give you an inside look at what’s happening at BoltOS, including new features, content, creators, and our exciting journeys into the frontier of immersive content.

Feature Update

Bolt Arena

We’re excited to unveil Bolt Arena, a new platform for immersive content. Two participants go head-to-head in various formats, while viewers can watch, chat, and support their favourite player by hitting the PLUS button.

Proceeds from the PLUS pool are then distributed to the participants, the community, and to support the platform. A closed beta is in development and progressing swiftly, thanks to our existing BoltOS infrastructure.

Pivotal

Formerly known internally during development as BoltChain, our new blockchain has been rebranded as Pivotal. This high-utility DePIN L2 blockchain is designed to unlock new opportunities for content creation, immersive streaming, audience interaction, and sustainable economies for creators. More to come!

Wedo TV

Wedo TV has landed on Bolt+, bringing a treasure trove of entertainment to your screen. Dive into blockbusters and hidden gems with WedoMovies, explore documentaries on WedoBigStories, and ignite your passions with WedoAmor.

World of FreeSports

World of FreeSports brings extreme sports and epic adventures to your living room. From daredevil BASE jumping to heart-stopping mountain biking, witness the world’s most audacious athletes defy gravity and conquer the elements.

Streamer Shout Outs

Bolt+ regulars @stevegoste has been streaming the new release of Ghosts of Tsushima for PC in stunning 4K.

And a big shout out to regulars @wazyx.xyz, @Lepi336 and @Cr4zyScorpion, who have collectively streamed over 75 hours in a single week!

To put that in perspective, in 75 hours you could fly around the world and then binge-watch the entirety of Stranger Things, with a good night’s sleep in between!

Fortnightly Bolt Beat AMA

On 22nd May, we held our first fortnightly Bolt Beat AMA on the BoltOS Discord and official Bolt+ channel. We were joined by Australian tech entrepreneur and blockchain rock star JP Thor, now part of the BoltOS investor team.
